The silver version is more my style, mostly because the jewellery I already own is silver-toned. I went back and forth between the small and medium styles because they have quite a similar look in the individual photos. The measurements are more helpful than the names alone. At around 26 mm, this version is the one I’d consider for a slightly more noticeable look, while still keeping the thin profile. I wouldn’t expect it to sit close around the earlobe like a huggie. A side-by-side size photo would make the choice even easier.

I don’t have pierced ears, but I still enjoy looking at earrings and planning outfits around them. A lot of clip-on designs feel more formal than what I’m after, so this straightforward hoop shape caught my attention. I appreciate being able to see the fastening in the product pictures rather than having to guess how it works. For me, the main attraction is getting that familiar hoop look without choosing something overly ornate or old-fashioned.

I like trying different jewellery styles, but I always come back to plain hoops. They don’t compete with whatever else you’re wearing, and there’s no need to match them to a particular outfit. The gold version would be my first choice for that reason. I also like that the design isn’t covered in stones or extra decoration. I usually find tiny hoops a little too subtle and oversized ones a bit much, so the medium size appeals to me. The slim shape keeps them looking simple rather than chunky. I can picture these with a plain shirt and my hair pulled back, without needing much other jewellery. I’d still recommend checking the measurements against a pair you already like, because “medium” can mean quite different things depending on the brand.
