What caught my attention was how simple these are. No stones or extra details, just a clean hoop shape. I tend to wear the same few pieces of jewellery, so I’m more interested in something that works with different outfits than a statement pair I’d only wear occasionally. I also appreciate seeing the clip shown in the product photos. With clip-ons, I want to understand how they attach before deciding, not just see how they look from the front.

My advice would be to look at the measurements rather than just the word “small.” At around 20 mm, these have more of a classic hoop shape than a tiny huggie look. That’s actually what appeals to me, because I want the earrings to be noticeable without looking oversized. The thin profile keeps the design looking delicate. I’d choose silver, mostly because it would match the necklace and rings I already wear.

I don’t have pierced ears, and a lot of the clip-ons I come across are a little too dressy for my taste. These are much closer to what I’ve been looking for: plain, slim hoops that don’t need a special occasion. I especially like the gold version with a white T-shirt and my hair tucked behind my ears. If you like really bold jewellery, these probably won’t be your first choice, but I like the understated look.

I haven't attempted to wear earrings in literal decades. I have a metal allergy (discovered AFTER I got my ears pierced) so traditional pierced earrings are not an option and traditional clip-on still have metal that touches my skin. Needless to say, I was very excited about a plastic clip! So far, these have been great! They are a nice size for everyday wear. There is a bit of a learning curve to get them on and they were rather tight and uncomfortable at first, which has improved though. I'm not sure if this is because the clips are "bending" to adjust to my ears or if I am just getting used to the sensation of wearing them. I did take off a star because they can migrate throughout the day, especially if I use the phone.
